The World Congress on Disaster Management is being organized till December 1, 2023.
It is being organized in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
This is the sixth edition of the World Congress on Disaster Management.
The World Congress on Disaster Management is a unique initiative to bring together researchers, policy makers and practitioners from across the world on a single platform to discuss various challenging issues of disaster risk management.
WCDM has emerged as the largest global conference on disaster management outside the United Nations system.
This conference was inaugurated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Organizing the Sixth World Disaster Management Conference in Dehradun is very important for Uttarakhand, which is suffering from natural disasters.
