World Computer Literacy Day is celebrated every year on 2 December.
World Computer Literacy Day was celebrated for the first time in the year 2001.
This day was started by the Indian computer company NIIT.
The theme of World Computer Literacy Day 2023 is 'Literacy for a human-centred recovery: bridging the digital divide'.
The objective of this day is to make people aware about computers and information technology and teach them its basics.
Computer literacy means understanding the basic functions and operations of a computer.
This includes how to use a computer, how to use different types of software and hardware, and how to use the Internet, etc.
