Chandra Barot, the acclaimed director behind the iconic 1978 Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Don, passed away at age 86 following a cardiac arrest on Sunday morning at Mumbai’s Guru Nanak Hospital. He had been battling idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (a rare lung disease) for over a decade.
