  • Veteran actress Pravina Deshpande passed away on 17 February 2026 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Her last rites were conducted at the Hindu Crematorium in Chakala Parsiwada, Andheri East, Mumbai.
  • Pravina Deshpande had a versatile career spanning Hindi and Marathi films, television, theatre, and digital platforms, known for impactful supporting roles. In films, she appeared in Ready, Ek Villain, and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, while on TV she featured in Ghar Ek Mandir, Kumkum, Karam Apnaa Apnaa, and Kulfi Kumar Bajewala. Her final appearance was in the web series Taskaree starring Emraan Hashmi.
