Mongolia’s parliament confirmed 39-year-old Uchral Nyam-Osor as the new Prime Minister with 88 out of 107 votes.
This marks the third leadership change in the country within nine months.
He replaced Zandanshatar Gombojav, who resigned amid political deadlock and internal divisions in the ruling Mongolian People’s Party (MPP).
Uchral, a former deputy PM and MPP chairman, is known for his pro-market and reform-oriented views.
