Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced a plan to develop religious corridors along the banks of the Ganga and Sharda rivers in Uttarakhand.
Under this project, a riverfront will be developed along the Sharda River to promote religious and cultural tourism, which will include beautification of riverfront ghats and providing various facilities for tourists and devotees.
The main objective of the Sharda and Ganga Corridor is to further promote religious tourism in the state, strengthen the local economy, and provide convenience to the pilgrims.
