  • Maximum 4 lakh 1 thousand 787 cases are registered under various sections of IPC in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Uttar Pradesh is at first place and Bihar is at second place in highest number of murder cases.
  • The highest number of kidnapping cases have been registered in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Maharashtra is at second place in this matter.
