U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order declaring English as the official language.
This order rescinded Bill Clinton's Executive Order 13166, which was implemented to provide better access to services for people with limited English proficiency.
According to Trump, this order will help bring national unity, shared culture, and harmony in government operations.
U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi has been instructed to rescind previous policy guidelines and implement new directives.
