  • Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was conferred with the Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar Award for creating a "fear-free Uttar Pradesh". 
  • The award ceremony was organized at Shanmukhananda Auditorium in Mumbai where member of the UP legislative council Lalji Prasad Nirmal received the award on behalf of Yogi Adityanath.
  • Buddhanjali Research Foundation organized the award ceremony which was graced by Ramnath Kovind as the chief guest.
  • The award was given by former Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and accepted on the CM's behalf by UP Legislative Council member Lalji Prasad Nirmal.
  • Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar award was the 13th edition of the award.
