Finance Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey has been appointed as the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), succeeding Madhabi Puri Buch, whose term ends on February 28.
The appointment is for a term of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, starting from the date of assuming office.
