Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, James Marape, together released a translation of the Tamil classic 'Thirukkural' in the Tok Pisin language.
Composed by saint-poet Thiruvalluvar, it is considered to be one of the greatest works on ethics and morals.
The book is co-authored by Subha Sasindran and Sasindran Muthuvel, who is the Governor of the province of West New Britain.
It aims to bring Indian culture and ideas to the people in Papua New Guinea.
Tok Pisin is the most widely spoken language in the Papua New Guinea.
