  • Mohd Azharuddin, former India captain and now president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), unveiled the Guinness Book of World Records-certified largest cricket bat, designed by Pernod Ricard India (P) Ltd, on Tank Bund.
  • The bat is 56.10 feet long, weighs 9 tonnes, and is made of poplar wood. 
  • This was done to wish the Indian cricket team well and to bring back the T-20 World Cup in Dubai.
