Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, published a paper titled "The State of the World's Children 2021: On My Mind: Promoting, Protecting, and Caring for Children's Mental Health."
The state of World’s Children 2021 report is UNICEF’s global flagship publication.
The paper emphasises the enormous impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's mental health.
An estimated 13% of teenagers aged 10 to 19 have a diagnosable mental illness.
