Sikkim government imposed a ₹50 tourist entry fee per person under The Sikkim Registration of Tourist Trade Rules 2025, effective from March 2025.
The fee will be collected by hotels during check-in and deposited into the Tourism Sustainability Development (TSD) Fund to enhance tourism infrastructure and services in the state.
