·        India and Australia participated in the fourth iteration of the biennial maritime series 'AUSINDEX'.

·        The exercise will allow the Australian Navy and the Indian Navy to "strengthen inter-operability capability, benefit from best practices".

·        This maritime exercise was conducted in India and Australia, where the North Australia exercise was held recently.

·        The first edition of the bilateral maritime exercise 'AUSINDEX' was started in 2015.
