  • Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister, has launched a programme 'Desh ke Mentor' in which students in classes 9 to 12 at Delhi government schools will be guided by dedicated mentors in exploring various career and life options.
  • Famous actor Sonu Sood has been made the brand ambassador of this program. In this program, youth from every corner of the country and successful people in their field will mentor the children of class 9th to 12th of government school. To become a mentor, the Delhi government has also launched a mobile app.
  • People from all over the country will become mentors to such children, not just those from Delhi. Anyone in the country can become a mentor by registering on the Delhi government's app.

About 'Desh ke Mentor' Program

  • The objective: “Desh Ke Mentor” program is to empower the students studying in Delhi government schools and show them the way forward.
  • Eligibility: The age of the person should be less than 35 years as well as he should be educated from a good university or young professional or entrepreneur and doing his own business or doing something good in sports/writing/singing/art field.
