Recently Swachh Bharat Mission-Gobardhan Biogas Conference was organized in New Delhi.
The conference was jointly organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
It also aims to create a strong ecosystem for setting up compressed biogas plants.
The conference was inaugurated by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Fund is a comprehensive initiative of the Government of India.
The objective of this initiative is to convert 'waste to wealth' and create a strong ecosystem for setting up biogas/compressed biogas/bio-compressed natural gas.
