Supreme Court Recognizes Aadhaar as Valid Identity Document for Bihar Voter List

The Supreme Court has ruled that Aadhaar cards will now be accepted as the 12th valid identity document for voter verification in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Bihar Assembly elections. The court clarified that Aadhaar will be valid only for identity purposes and not as proof of citizenship.
