December 2023 marks the 100th birth anniversary of late Justice Madhava Reddy.
A special postal cover has been released on this occasion.
This postage stamp was released by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar.
Justice Reddy was born on August 15, 1872.
He made valuable contributions to the justice and education system of India.
The central message of Justice Reddy's life was an inclusive society.
He also served as the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai High Courts as well as the Governor of Maharashtra.
He died in the year 1997.
