  • South African batter Farhaan Behardien announced retirement, concluding an 18-year international cricketing career.
  • The 39-year old has represented the Proteas in 59 ODIs and has 1074 runs and 14 wickets under his belt.
  • Behardien made his first-class debut in 2004. 
  • The all-rounder was a part of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2012, 2014 and 2016 as well as the Cricket World Cup in 2015.
  • He last represented the Proteas in November 2018 in a T20I against Australia in Carrara.
