Indian opener Shubman Gill has matched Babar Azam's world record in the 3rd ODI between India and New Zealand at the Holkar Cricket Stadium Indore.
Joining forces with India captain Rohit Sharma in the 3rd ODI, opener Gill notched up his second century of the three-match series against Tom Latham-led New Zealand at the Holkar Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan skipper Babar created the world record when the star batter smashed 360 runs against the West Indies in 2016.
Gill also eclipsed veteran Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan with his 4th ODI ton in the high-scoring contest.
Gill achieved the special feat in 21 innings while Dhawan slammed four centuries in 24 innings for the two-time world champions.
The 23-year-old became the youngest batter to slam a double century in ODI cricket at Hyderabad. Gill's 208-run knock off 149 balls guided India to a thrilling 12-run win over New Zealand in the 1st ODI.
