  • Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurated Fly91, a regional airline, and flagged off its maiden flight from Manohar International Airport, Goa, to Agatti Islands, Lakshadweep.
  • The UDAN scheme aims to connect tier 2 and tier 3 cities, with a goal of boosting domestic air traffic to 30 crores by 2030.
  • Scheduled flights by Fly91 will commence from March 18, 2024, connecting Manohar International Airport, Goa, with various cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jalgaon, Agatti, Pune, and Nanded.
  • The expansion of air connectivity through the UDAN scheme will enhance tourism, promote trade and commerce, and offer an affordable, safe, and hassle-free travel experience.
  • The event was attended by Fly91 Chairman Shri. Harsha Raghavan, Shri Asangba Chuba Ao, Jt. Secretary MoCA, and other officials from AAI and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
