Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has launched the ‘Sanchar Saathi’ portal.
Sanchar Saathi Portal aims to empower mobile phone users by providing essential services.
The portal provides services such as tracking and blocking of lost mobile phones.
The Sanchar Saathi portal focuses on the needs and requirements of mobile phone users.
It is a joint effort between the government and mobile phone service providers.
It is an initiative developed by the Department of Telecom.
The portal has detected more than 40 lakh bogus connections and disconnected more than 36 lakh connections.
