The book "Sunrise Over Ayodhya: Nationhood in Our Times" by Salman Khurshid has been released.
The judgement in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid controversy in 2019 is highlighted in this book.
Salman Khurshid, a former Union Law Minister and senior Congress leader, claims in his latest book that the Supreme Court's ruling on the Ayodhya controversy rejected the concept of a "Hindu Rashtra." At the same time, it has improved the Apex Court's ability to deal with religiously sensitive situations in a secular system.
The book also discusses how the Supreme Court found a careful balance between applying judicial principles and treating civilization's festering wounds.
