·         Sahdev Yadav was elected the president of the Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWLF).

·         Yadav, who previously served as secretary-general, was overwhelmingly elected.

·         Returning Officer Narinder Paul Kaushik, Judicial Officer (Retd. ), Delhi District Courts, oversaw the elections.

·         As an observer, Rakesh Gupta, joint secretary of the Indian Olympic Association, was present.
