Sagar Parikrama program begins

Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala has inaugurated the program 'Sagar Parikrama'.
The first phase of 'Sagar Parikrama' has started from Gujarat on 5 February 2022 for 2 days.
The Yatra of 'Sagar Parikrama' will focus on a sustainable balance in the use of marine fish resources for the country's food security, livelihoods of coastal fisher communities and protection of the marine ecosystem.
