  • The Swimming Federation of India (SFI) on Sunday unanimously re-elected RN Jayaprakash as its president.
  • Monal Chokshi was elected as general secretary, Sudesh Nagvenkar as treasurer, Rajkumar, Anil Vyas, Satish Kumar, Bhaskar Das, Anil Khatri as vice presidents, Seema Merotra, Muralitharan, Lokeshwar Singh and Lakshmi Chandra Mahakur as joint secretaries.
  • The SFI will focus on developing grassroots participation in swimming by holding camps and coaches' clinics at the State-level.
  • SFI plans to propose to four states to set up an academy for a year-long camp where foreign coaches will be brought in.
