  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on March 5, 2025 announced the appointment of Dr Ajit Ratnakar Joshi as Executive Director, effective March 3, 2025.
  • Prior to this promotion, Joshi was working as Principal Advisor in the Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM).
