Union Minister Jitendra Singh praised the 2023 batch of IAS officer trainees, highlighting a record 41% women representation, with 74 women officers:

He hailed the largest-ever representation of women in the history of the Indian Administrative Service, with 74 women officers comprising 41 percent of the current batch of 180 officers.
