'Water Smart Kid Campaign' has been recently launched by the Government of Meghalaya.
This campaign was started by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma did it.
The objective of this campaign is to generate a sense of responsibility and awareness among the young generation regarding water conservation.
This campaign is being started under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Despite being named as one of the wettest places on Earth, the state faces challenges in conserving its water resources.
Every year Meghalaya receives 63 billion cubic liters of water through rainfall, but it retains only 1 billion cubic litres.

Recently 'Water Smart Kid Campaign' has been launched by the Government of Meghalaya.
