The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the launch of 'Digital Doctor Clinic' scheme for universal access to health facilities in the state.
The 'Digital Doctor Clinic' scheme will expand health facilities in rural areas.
Through this, doctors will give advice to the villagers through online medium.
These clinics will serve as primary health centers, where doctors can be consulted through online video conferencing.
After consultation, villagers will be able to avail medicines and testing facilities from the respective primary health centres/community health centres.
Initially this scheme will be started in Lucknow and Bulandshahr districts.
The Uttar Pradesh government has signed an agreement of Rs 350 crore with Obdu Group for this scheme.
