In December 2023, the responsibility of security of the Parliament House complex has been handed over to the 'Central Industrial Security Force'.
This decision has been taken by the Union Home Ministry.
Till now the responsibility of security of the Parliament House complex was in the hands of Delhi Police.
CISF before the budget session of Parliament. is likely to take command of Parliament's security arrangements.
This decision has been taken after two youths took advantage of the security lapse and reached the Lok Sabha on December 13.
In case of this security lapse, CRPF A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Director General Anish Dayal Singh.
Central Industrial Security Force was formed in the year 1969 AD.
It is working under the Central Home Ministry.
