The full name of CERT-In is Indian Computer Emergency Response Team - India.
Recently the government has taken CERT-In out of the scope of Right to Information.
The Center has used its powers under sub-section (2) of Section 24 of the RTI Act to exempt CERT-In from the purview of the transparency law.
Using those powers the Center has included serial number CERT-In 27 in the Second Schedule of the RTI Act.
Apart from CERT-In, 26 other organizations were included in this list.
CERT-In is working under the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
It was established in the year 2004.
