The country's first cyber security center has been inaugurated in Chandigarh in December 2023.
This center was inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
This center is also known as CenCOPS.
This cyber security center will be connected to all the states of the country.
Here, infrastructure has been prepared to solve major and forensic investigation cases related to all the states.
This center will be under DRDO for 3 years from the beginning.
Data hacking, phishing mail, OTP fraud and mobile fraud, sextortion etc. are major cyber crimes.
