'Krasnoyarsk' and 'Emperor Alexander Third' are the names of 2 nuclear submarines.
These submarines have been launched by the Russian Navy in December 2023.
Russian President Vladimir Putin unveiled these new nuclear powered submarines.
Putin inaugurated the ships at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk in the country's northwest Arkhangelsk region.
Emperor Alexander III is the seventh Borei-class nuclear-powered submarine to enter service.
It is equipped with 16 intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads.
Krasnoyarsk is a new Yasen-type nuclear-powered submarine.
It is armed with cruise missiles and torpedoes and is designed to hunt enemy submarines.
It is also capable of attacking ground targets.
Russia is building 5 more such submarines.
