'The Order of Merit' is one of Italy's highest honours.
Recently Kabir Bedi of Hindi cinema has been honored with 'The Order of Merit'.
Kabir Bedi's entire family was present in this award ceremony held at Gateway of India, Mumbai.
The award is given by the Government of Italy to those who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements and contributions to Italian society and beyond.
In this, the recipients are awarded the respective insignia depending on the degree of their contribution.
Kabir Bedi has acted in India as well as in Italy and other countries.
