'Barracuda' is the country's fastest solar-electric boat.
This boat has been launched recently.
This state-of-the-art boat has been jointly developed by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and Nevelt.
The boat was launched from Navagathi Pannavali Yard in Alappuzha, Kerala.
Barracuda is named after the fast long fish.
Barracoda can run in water at a maximum speed of 12 knots.
Its running capacity is 7 hours on a single charge.
This boat can navigate in waves of 4 meters.
It excels in challenging marine environments.
