India has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia on partnership in electronic manufacturing sector in December 2023.
This agreement has recently been approved by the Union Cabinet.
The objective of this MoU is to strengthen cooperation in the fields of digitalization, electronic manufacturing, e-governance, smart infrastructure, e-health and e-education.
This MoU will establish a framework for cooperation in the field of digitalization and electronic manufacturing and establish a partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.
The cooperation activities under this MoU will promote engagement in the field of digitalization and electronic manufacturing, which are integral to the envisioned objectives of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
