  • India has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia on partnership in electronic manufacturing sector in December 2023.
  • This agreement has recently been approved by the Union Cabinet.
  • The objective of this MoU is to strengthen cooperation in the fields of digitalization, electronic manufacturing, e-governance, smart infrastructure, e-health and e-education.
  • This MoU will establish a framework for cooperation in the field of digitalization and electronic manufacturing and establish a partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.
  • The cooperation activities under this MoU will promote engagement in the field of digitalization and electronic manufacturing, which are integral to the envisioned objectives of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
