  • Fast Attack Craft 'Tarmugli' has been launched into the Indian Navy in December 2023.
  • It is a fast attack craft.
  • The ship has the unique distinction of serving under the flags of two countries with three names during her distinguished service so far.
  • Commissioned into the Indian Navy as INS Tilanchang, a Trinket-class ship.
  • The ship was in active service until 2006.
  • The ship was commissioned into the Maldives National Defense Force on 16 April 2006.
  • From there it was decommissioned in May 2023 and returned to the Indian Navy.
  • The ship has undergone extensive repairs and upgrades by the Indian Navy at the Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam during the last six months.
  • Now on 14 December it has been re-inducted into the Indian Navy.
