Fast Attack Craft 'Tarmugli' has been launched into the Indian Navy in December 2023.
It is a fast attack craft.
The ship has the unique distinction of serving under the flags of two countries with three names during her distinguished service so far.
Commissioned into the Indian Navy as INS Tilanchang, a Trinket-class ship.
The ship was in active service until 2006.
The ship was commissioned into the Maldives National Defense Force on 16 April 2006.
From there it was decommissioned in May 2023 and returned to the Indian Navy.
The ship has undergone extensive repairs and upgrades by the Indian Navy at the Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam during the last six months.
Now on 14 December it has been re-inducted into the Indian Navy.
