A 'friendship agreement' was signed with the Delhi government and Fukuoka province of Japan.
This agreement was for cultural exchange.
Recently the period of this agreement has been extended.
Now this agreement will remain in force till 31 March 2026.
This agreement was signed in March, 2007.
The agreement aims to cooperate on environmental issues, education, tourism, cultural and youth exchanges.
The MoU was signed with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aki Omgari, Lieutenant Governor of Fukuoka Prefectural Government.
