Defense Research and Development Organization has recently successfully tested the indigenous high-speed flying wing.
This test was conducted at the Aeronautical Test Range located in Chitradurga, Karnataka.
With this flight in tailless configuration, India has joined the list of countries which have mastered the control of flying wing configuration.
Unmanned drones have demonstrated an excellent capability for autonomous landing without the need for ground radar/infrastructure/pilot.
The first successful flight of this aircraft was done in July 2022.
GPS in drone GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation Receiver has been used to improve the accuracy and completeness of navigation.
