In November 2023, South American country Chile has become a member of the International Solar Alliance.
Chile has become the 95th member of the International Solar Alliance.
Chilean Ambassador Juan Angulo handed over the instrument of ratification to the Joint Secretary in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
The International Solar Alliance was established during the COP 21 summit.
This summit was held in Paris in the year 2015.
India and France are co-founders of the International Solar Alliance.
Its headquarters is located in Gurugram, Haryana.
