The ASEAN-India Millets Festival concluded recently in New Delhi.
The festival included representatives from India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The conference was inaugurated by Arjun Munda, Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs.
The festival emphasized the historical and cultural connections between different regions of the world, emphasizing the role of millets in reviving traditional ties.
International Millet Year is being celebrated in the year 2023.
