Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force in December 2023.
His appointment was made by the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet.
Till now Anees Dayal had the additional charge of Director General ITBP.
The appointment of Anish Dayal will be effective till December 31, 2024.
The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest of the central armed police forces of India.
It works under the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India.
It was established in the year 1939.
