'Harimau Shakti' joint military exercise is organized between the armies of India and Malaysia.
Recently this military exercise started in Umroi, Meghalaya.
Exercise Harimau Shakti 2023 aims to enhance the level of defense cooperation between the Indian Army and the Malaysian Army, which also aims to boost bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Malaysian contingent consists of soldiers from the 5th Royal Battalion of the Malaysian Army.
The Indian contingent is represented by a battalion of the Rajput Regiment.
Its previous edition was held in Malaysia in November 2022.
Harimau Shakti Exercise is being organized since 2012
