  • This partnership was upgraded to a 'Special Strategic Partnership' during the state visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Seoul in 2015.
  • Trade between the two countries has increased significantly.
  • It increased from $530 million during the 1992–1993 fiscal year to billion dollars during 2006–2007.
