  • The names of these countries are Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.
  • Now there are 10 member countries in this organization.
  • These countries were inducted into the organization in the 15th BRICS summit held in Johannesburg in the year 2023.
  • Argentina was also included in this organization but has refused to join.
  • Russia is the chair of BRICS from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
