  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been selected for the Digital Transformation Award 2025 by Central Banking, London, UK. 
  • The central bank was honoured for its digital initiatives, Pravah and Saarthi, which were developed by its in-house developer team.
  • "Sarthi" (January 2023) improved document management, data analysis and efficiency by digitizing RBI's internal workflows, leading to enhanced operational efficiency. 
  • "Pravah" (May 2024) is an online portal that enables external users to submit regulatory applications to the RBI, making the process more transparent and cyber-secure. 
  • Following the launch of "Pravah", over 2,000 applications were submitted online by the end of 2024, marking an 80% increase in the monthly application rate.
