  • Raj Kamal Jha, the editor and author of the Indian Express, won the 'Banaras Lit Fest Award' in the 'Ruskin Bond Fiction Book Award category' for his novel "The Patient in Bed Number 12" at the Banaras Lit Fest Book Awards in Delhi, which deeply examines the social realities of contemporary India. 
  • The Banaras Lit Fest will honor Hindi litterateur Kashinath Singh with the 'Bharatendu Harishchandra Lifetime Achievement Award' in 2025, which will be held in Banaras from March 7 to 9, 2025.
