The Quad countries (U.S., Australia, India, and Japan) have launched the Cancer Moonshot initiative to tackle cervical cancer in the Indo-Pacific, aiming to improve healthcare infrastructure, increase HPV vaccination, and expand cancer screenings and treatments in underserved areas.
The U.S. has committed $1.58 billion over five years to support the Cancer Moonshot initiative, focusing on cervical cancer prevention, detection, and treatment, with potential expansion to other cancers in the future.
